How to get there:
The island is primarily accessible via Dumaguete City. It is an hour away by fast ferry and two hours by passenger ship. There are several trips per day starting as early as 7AM, with the last trip departing Dumaguete City at 6PM.
From Cebu City, the island is accessible via air and sea. Air Juan flies thrice a week to the island while Lite Shipping Corporation sails to the Port of Larena three times a week. The island is also accessible from Bohol through Tagbilaran City. Every day, Oceanjet sails to the Port of Larena, arriving at 11:40 AM and departing back to Bohol at 2:20 PM.
All six municipalities are connected by asphalt and concrete roads. The major means of transportation in the province are multi-cabs, tricycles and motorcycles (habal-habal). Tourist vans are also available in the island to ferry guests and tourists to the different attractions.
