How to get there:
- . By Air
From Manila, Philippines Airlines, Cebu Pacific, SkyJet and AirAsia fly to Puerto
Princesa City every day. Flying time is 1 hour and 20 minutes. From Cebu, Cebu
Pacific fly to Puerto Princesa City. Flying time is 1 hour and 20 minutes.
Another way to get to Palawan is through Busuanga (Coron) via Philippine Airlines,
SkyJet and Cebu Pacific from Manila.
2. By Sea
Every Thursday, 2Go Shipping Lines from Manila for Puerto Princesa. Back to
Manila every Saturday. Other option is Super ferry from Manila to Puerto Princesa
every Friday and back to Manila every Sunday. It takes between 18 and 22 hours
from Manila and includes a stopover at Coron.
Negros Navigation to Coron for Puerto Princesa every Friday and back to Coron every
Saturday. Other option is Super ferry, leaving from Coron every Saturday and back
on Sunday.
Getting around the island is easy, with the completion of tourism roads from Puerto
Princesa to El Nido will take 5-6 hours. In El Nido, best type of vehicles are jeepneys
or tricycles because roads are narrow for other larger means of transport.
Motorbikes and bicycles can also be hired for other kind of trips. There are available
public transportation from Puerto Princesa to Roxas, Port Bart, San Vicente and
Taytay.
