On arrival at Auckland Airport, the ‘City of Sails’. You will be met and transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Auckland.
This morning, depart Auckland for your journey north to Paihia in the Bay of Islands. Overnight in Bay of Islands.
Today is free at leisure or to pursue some optional activities, we highly recommend one of the following activities: “Hole in the Rock” Cape Brett Cruise OR the Cape Reinga Wanderer 90 mile beach tour. Overnight in Bay of Islands.
This morning, journey from Paihia to Rotorua via Auckland. Overnight in Rotorua
Today’s half day city tour includes Te Puia and its Thermal Valley of roaring geysers, steaming rivers and boiling mud pools. Following this, you will travel to Rainbow Springs to view trout and other wildlife and to the famous Agrodome Sheep Show. In the afternoon, commence half day Hobbiton Movie Set Tour. Tour concludes by returning to Rotorua and drop off at hotel. Overnight in Rotorua.
Enjoy a tour from Auckland to Rotorua with a guided tour of the fascinating Waitomo Glow Worm Caves. You will marvel at Mother Nature’s light display as you glide silently through the starry wonderland of the Glowworm Grotto. Continue your journey to Auckland and check in at your hotel on arrival. Overnight in Auckland.
